I wanted to make small paintings that would be suitable for a mouse. So I painted some portraits, still life's and Rothko's for a cute home with some class. The deer mount was my favorite. It would be odd to see him in a mouse house since they are way larger than mice, but maybe a mouse thought it would be cool to have their own.

Sashiko

Sashiko is a method of embroidery to strengthen fabric. This is a much lighter approach to the Thread theme than the 3 Deadly Threads. 

3 Lethal Threads

I have seen some chemical structure jewelry that was the makeup for things like "happiness" or "love". Sounds cute and cliche and all, but I don't buy into it since they are not always true or they are just a fad. So I decided to make embroidery of the three chemicals for lethal injection. We don't really think about what the symbol means other than what information we are given with it. If these were on a necklace would people buy it up just like they would for something like "love"? Probably not, but who is to say the one they are buying actually stands for anything?

I did not really want to paint for this one since watercolor would have been the obvious go to. So I thought I would test out my camera on a rainy day. They most successful pieces were the animations. I didn't go with a video because rain never seems to stop, so why not make an infinite gif. Its always raining somewhere
